Overview
Omer is a Turkish family drama about forbidden love, faith, and the courage to follow the heart despite social judgment. Ömer is the son of the district imam, raised in a conservative environment where family expectations carry great weight. His life changes when he falls in love with Gamze, an older divorced woman and single mother who returns to her old neighborhood trying to rebuild her life. Their relationship challenges tradition, age expectations, and the approval of Ömer’s strict father. As love grows between them, both must confront prejudice, family pressure, and their own fears.
