Overview
Defne’s quiet life as a waitress is shattered when her reckless brother lands in deep debt to dangerous men. The ransom demand is clear: an impossible sum of money, or her brother’s life. In desperation, she accepts an outrageous offer — she must make Ömer, a wealthy and famously aloof shoe designer, fall in love with her and convince him to marry her, all in exchange for the cash to save her brother. Ömer, scarred by past betrayals, trusts no one and believes love is a transaction he’d rather not make. Yet Defne’s clumsy, honest chaos breaches his defences in ways no calculated seduction could. As their manufactured romance starts generating real sparks, Defne is trapped between the lie she must sustain and the terrifying possibility that she is no longer pretending.
