Overview
Melike Candan was once a shining star of 1980s Turkish cinema, her face on posters, her name whispered with adoration. Today she scrubs toilets in a dingy bar, the spotlight a distant memory buried under decades of bad luck, worse decisions, and a world that forgot her the moment a younger face appeared. Gökçe Yücel is a young woman burning with ambition, convinced that fame and fortune are just around the corner if she can only catch a break.
