Overview
Set in 1930s Antakya during the French occupation, Aziz tells the gripping story of Aziz Payidar, the wealthy heir of one of the city’s most powerful carpet manufacturing families. After accidentally killing a French officer, Aziz is forced to flee his homeland and abandon the woman he loves. Years later, everyone believes he is dead — until he suddenly returns to Antakya and discovers that nothing is the same anymore. His family empire has weakened, his former lover Dilruba is engaged to another man, and the city remains trapped under foreign control. As Aziz fights to rebuild his life and reclaim justice, he also finds himself torn between his past love and a humble village girl named Efnan. Combining romance, politics, betrayal, and historical drama, the series delivers an emotional journey of redemption and resistance.
