Overview
Barış is a divorce lawyer who has seen every flavour of human misery shuffle through his office. Cynical, burnt out, and convinced that love is a temporary delusion, he has reached the point where nothing about the human heart can surprise him. Then he meets Aslı, a beautiful young woman who drives a taxi through the sleepless streets of Istanbul to support her struggling family. She is sunshine in human form — optimistic, unguarded, and utterly unimpressed by his designer suits and expensive cynicism. When their paths cross in a series of increasingly improbable encounters, Barış finds himself drawn into a world he had long dismissed: a world where people sacrifice for each other, where hope is not a weakness, and where a taxi driver with calloused hands and a radiant smile might just be the firefly that lights up the darkness he has been living in.
